Anki

★ 22k

The gold-standard spaced-repetition flashcard system — free forever on desktop and Android.

Anki does the job of Quizlet Plus and Brainscape, self-hosted. It is AGPL-licensed, so a hosted fork has to publish its changes, and it installs in about one command. Quizlet Plus bills $8 for it. 22k stars on GitHub.
