Can I open-source Voidpet Garden?
KINDA · partial or early alternativesKinda. wger cover the core of Voidpet Garden, but they're early or partial — expect gaps like Voidpet's original creature art, animations, names and worldbuilding and the polished native mobile experience and app-store distribution.
People pay because the journal is only one layer of Voidpet Garden. The finished product combines a distinct creature universe, a curated set of reflective exercises, polished mobile interactions and a collection habit that becomes more valuable as entries and pets accumulate. A local clone can reproduce the data model and the loop, but not the original art, writing, updates or the work of maintaining a finished mental-health product.
